New Course Record in 2016!

Congratulations to Zach Huseby of Jackson, Wyoming, who set a new male course record this year!  He shattered the previous course record by FIVE MINUTES, SEVEN SECONDS.  Now that is SCARY FAST.
Great weather again this year!
Our women's course record is 1:37:32 and has been standing for two years.  There is a cash prize every year when either course record is beaten, so keep training!

Race Day Information!

Here are a few details you may be wondering about.

Packet pickup will be from 5:30 -7 pm at City Hall on Friday, Oct 7 and before 7:30 am race morning at Kelly Park.

Half begins at 8:00 am at Kelly Park

10K begins at 8:30 am at Hooper Springs

5K begins at 9:15 am at Kelly Park

Kids 1 mile begins at 10:15 am at Kelly Park

The portion of the courses in Kelly Park will be marked with big blue arrows.  We will use "Route Arrows" on the pavement whenever possible.  Markings/arrows will be on the left hand side of the road so you will be running against traffic.  The road is not closed but we will have lots of volunteers to help keep you safe.  Aid stations will be-1) around mile 3 right before you leave the park, 2) about mile 5,7 on the Cedar View Road, this one you can hit twice 3) at the beginning of the 10k near Hooper Springs and 4) near the high school.

If you have a smartphone, download the mobile app,  It's Your Race in the app store.  It has all the same information available.  So handy!

10k runners please make sure you have someone to drop you off at the start at Hooper Springs.  You will finish at Kelly Park.  If you know now that you will need a ride, please let me know.

See you soon!
